Obstetric and Gynecological Society of Salem is proud to host the FOGSI South Zonal Conference with Yuva 2022. This is the second conference to be held physically by FOGSI after a gap of 2 years and a waning pandemic. The members of Salem society are ardently looking forward to welcome you all from across the country and the Globe. The ravaging pandemic made women’s healthcare providers a challenging year of their career, nevertheless the extra burden was overcome with sheer integrity and persistence. Updating the knowledge was undertaken on online mode and priorities were redefined.

It is in the midst of the background we have taken up the task of hosting an event of this proportion. There are 6 Pre-Conference workshops, the theme is well selected and formulated to include knowledge sharing with YUVA Fogsians in mind, A proper mix of experience and enthusiasm. The conference is for two days with renowned national and international speakers and arranged in 3 major Halls, complete with Guest lectures, Debates, panel discussion, Yuva capsules, Orations and Keynote addresses, Free paper and poster presentations. The academic deliberations will be followed by cultural extravaganza and a gala Banquet Night.

Salem is a place dotted by hills all around with the major dam of Tamilnadu across the river cauvery in the nearby vicinity and lots of tourist attractions. Yercaud is a hill station 45 mins drive to the top. Salem has a rich heritage of various temples and shrines. It has the distinction of having two GI tag to it’s Credit. The Thammampatti wood carvings and Salem white silk dhoties ( venpattu). It is well connected to major cities of south, Coimbatore, Kochi, Bengaluru and Chennai.
