Greetings from Delhi Ophthalmological Society!

On Behalf of the Executive Committee of Delhi Ophthalmological Society, it is our great pleasure to invite you to the Winter Conference of Delhi Ophthalmological Society to be held on 11th - 12th October 2025, at Hotel Ashok, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, India. This Conference will bring together practitioners, researchers and educators from India and abroad who are engaged in state of art ophthalmic academic work.

The Delhi Ophthalmological Society, with over 10000 members across India is committed to furthering the cause of continuing medical education and promoting camaraderie and fellowship amongst ophthalmologists worldwide. The DOS conference is a much awaited, time-honoured academic fiesta, which attracts faculty, trade exhibitors and delegates from all over the world.

The conference will be a two-day celebration of ophthalmology featuring the best works in the fields of Cataract, Refractive Surgery, Cornea, Glaucoma, Strabismus, Neuro-ophthalmology and Oculoplasty. The diverse program will feature plenary sessions, symposia, instruction courses, wet labs and live surgery demonstration, Challenging Video, and Challenging eposter podium presentation and challenging interesting cases. A session for young ophthalmologists is a special addition to our diverse program.

As you will venture out of the confines of the state of the art conference hall and the world of ophthalmology, the vibrant Delhi along with its legendary hospitality and bustling energy will enthrall you. After the academic extravaganza, there will be captivating cultural program and fellowship dinner, true to DOS traditions.

We would be delighted to have you at this conference, and to hear what the experts, and researchers have to share about technological advancements and their impact on Ophthalmology. We would also love to hear your thoughts and opinions to this direction.

  • Pre-registration Closes on 23rd September, 2025.
  • No Requests will be Entertained by the Conference Secretariat beyond the dates Mentioned for Concessions.
  • *Letter of Proof of residency (Signed & Sealed) from HOD is required to be submitted to the Conference Secretariat along with the Registration Form.
  • Confirmation of registration will be sent only upon verification.
  • **Registration for spouse and children is to be done separately for each person. Ophthalmologists will not be eligible for registration under spouse’s category.
  • **Only one registration per UTR/Demand Draft would be accepted, if there are multiple registrations against one transfer, it will be considered as Trade registration and the fees will apply accordingly.
  • **Organisers reserve the right to reject a registration if found in violation of registration rules or to reassign them to a category which they may demand fit.
  • **Registration Demand Draft/Cheque should reach to the DOS Secretariat office within the 10 days of the Demand Draft /Cheque issuing date via speed post or registered post/courier.
  • **Registration slab applicable shall be the prevailing slab on the date of credit of amount in the DOS account. It is requested to send forms and payment promptly well ahead of slab transition period.
  • ***Exhibitor manning the exhibition stalls are required to be registered for the conference. Unregistered exhibitor will not be eligible for delegate kits & Fellowship Dinner.
  • Cancellation & Refund: Cancellation is permitted up to 1st September, 2025 only against a written request addressed to the Organizing Secretary, submitted to the conference secretariat; 50% of the registration fee would be deducted as processing charges. No cancellation request will be accepted thereafter.
  • Payment shall be refunded after one month of the conference through cheque.
  • Registration is non-transferable.
  • Photo I-card & Mobile handset of number provided in registration form will be required at the time of collection of registration kit. Delegate kit for spot Registrants will be subject to availability. Wearing of identity badge is mandatory at all times.
  • Presentation of Registration Badge & Invitation card is mandatory for fellowship dinner entry.
  • Lost badge/duplicate badge will be replaced at the registration counter only upon payment of a fee of Rs. 1000/-.
  • Registration Kit can be collected by the concerned delegate / faculty only. No third person will be given the registration kit.
  • All company representatives bringing in delegate registrations are required to completely fill in the registration forms offline before payment processing.
  • ## DOS Secretariat will not entertain any calls concerning complimentary registration. Completed Registration forms with required details may please be sent to the DOS Secretariat.
  • Complimentary Registration for Past Presidents of DOS or AIOS & Seniors Citizens (>70 years) will be entertained till 1st October, 2025.
  • Members should ensure that one correct registration form is filled and submitted to the Secretariat. Submission of multiple form lead to cancellation of registration.
  • No cash payment will be acceptable for registration.
  • No Certificate will be issue to Spouse Delegate/Child/Optometrist.
  • Organiser will not be responsible for any date change of the conference and any loss or theft of personal belongings.
