A great deal of pride goes into the Burdwan Orthopaedic Club hosting the 42nd Annual Conference of the West Bengal Orthopaedic Association (WBOACON 2024) from 15th to 17th March 2024 at Darjeeling Gymkhana Club. This conference is the flagship of the WBOA, and it is a great pleasure for us to welcome you all. As we are all aware, the pandemic has created stress, brought anxiety, and disrupted our meeting schedules for over the last 2 years. This has surely developed a gap in the knowledge and skill acquisition concerning our specialties. The Queen of the Hills is a Himalayan city in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is a vibrant organization that focuses on academics, research, and social networking. It has a number of districts and local orthopedic clubs actively engaged in various academic and social works. WBOA’s history of birth and development is closely coordinated with that of IOA for many years.
About Burdwan Ortho Club:
Burdwan Ortho Club, established in 2001, was the first among the ortho clubs in West Bengal. It is a registered body under the aegis of the West Bengal Orthopedic Association. We have more than 40 active members in Bardhaman town, having our own office establishment and PAN number with a regular annual audit system. We hold monthly academic meetings and fortnightly discussion meetings. In the recent past, we have organized WBOACON16, MIDCON 18, WBOACON20, and two National Pediatric orthopedic conferences.
