Message From Organizing Chairperson

Dear Friends,

I extend my warm greetings, on behalf of the organizing committee of Vascular Society of India’s 30th Annual Conference scheduled in the city of Mumbai.

The focus for this year’s conference will be to address the practical challenges faced by the Vascular Surgeons, including current controversies. This year, through robust deliberations during the scientific sessions, we will strive to arrive at a consensus in the management of common clinical scenarios.

Keeping with the focus for this year, the theme for the conference is “Controversies, Challenges & Consensus”.

We aim to achieve our goal with the participation of esteemed national and international faculties. With years of experience, our elite national faculties, will guide us in the controversies and challenges faced and help to steer us to a consensus. We have invited August International Faculty, from the US, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Belgium to name a few, who will share knowledge about their clinical practices and guide us through the newer technologies. We will also share and deliberate exciting data emerging from various studies on current topics.

With this in mind, we also, plan to introduce learning centers for various procedures at the conference, so that our delegates get a ‘hands on feel’ of procedures under the guidance of masters.

Me and my team, are looking forward to your wholehearted participation and involvement in VSICON2023. We assure you that you will return to your respective institutions and practice, enriched and brimming with updated, academic knowledge.

Dear Friends,

Conferences have always been a challenge and when it’s a milestone the expectations are always high.

2023, Vascular Society of India’s annual conference is indeed a milestone in a journey, a journey where the society has grown from its infancy to the present success… This year, we celebrate 30 years of the Vascular Society of India. 30 years of glory, 30 years of struggle, 30 years of success, 30 years of a journey… A journey which has seen its challenges, a journey of controversies, and a journey where we had to fight for our consensus.

“Controversies, Challenges & Consensus” is rightly the theme for our 30th Annual Conference.

We plan to have not only an intellectually challenging and academically oriented scientific program but to also give our members a taste of the host city. A city where dreams are made, a city where wishes are fulfilled, a city of finance and films, a city called “Mumbai” … “The Gateway of India”

The VSI members have been the true champions of this journey and we plan to honour the role of its elite members who have contributed their entity for the development of Vascular Specialty in India.
