Dear all,

It is a matter of pride for us that Assam has been given the opportunity to host an important national orthopedic event like ‘POSICON 2024’, the 30th Annual Conference of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of India.

The signature academic fiesta of POSI in 2024 will be held amidst the tranquil ambiance of Kiranshree Grand in Guwahati on the 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th of February 2024. The conference will be taken care of with all efforts on excellence in academics and I have no doubt the participating delegates and faculty will get an appropriate ambiance to interact on the current practice in Paediatric Orthopaedics and also to explore newer possibilities for the benefit of our children.

At the same time, the academic event will give the POSI community an opportunity to explore Assam, considering the soothing climatic condition of February in this terrain and for the avid travellers, why not, some parts of the enchanting Northeast ? I extend a hearty, warm invitation to all, welcome to POSICON 2024; welcome to Assam, the land of blue hills and red river; welcome to the land of world famed one-horned rhinoceros and world heritage biodiversity hotspot in the picturesque Northeast of India.
