About Event

OSMECON is an annual international undergraduate medical conference hosted by one of the most esteemed institutions in the country, Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad.

A symphony of knowledge and innovation, OSMECON unfolds over three engaging days, an eagerly awaited conference each year. Having blossomed from its inception in 2010 as a platform for medical undergraduates to showcase their research, the conference's repertoire has since expanded to encompass an array of captivating workshops, thought-provoking clinical case discussions, stimulating quizzes, enlightening guest lectures, engaging panel discussions and symposia, where international luminaries and delegates have graced its stage since 2014.

OSMECON's primary aspiration has been to endow participants with the latest clinical skills and a comprehensive grasp of basic and clinical research techniques. Another main focus has been the recent developments, future opportunities and challenges that medical research presents at all levels of training, with particular emphasis on the Indian context and the global situation.

Rules & Regulations

  1. 1) Basic registration is mandatory for all delegates who wish to attend OSMECON.
  2. 2) Prior registration is mandatory for participation in all the events.
  3. 3) After basic registration, please make a note of your registration ID.
  4. 4) After registration, a confirmation mail will be sent with a link attached to it. Click on it to join the TELEGRAM group for registered delegates.
  5. 5) There is no on-spot registration for workshops.
  6. 6) All members of a team must register to participate in any team event.
  7. 7) Offline basic registration for OSMECON 2023 is inclusive of lunch, as well as having the option to spectate all events, barring workshops.
  8. 8) If one wishes to avail the accommodation facility during the conference, please click YES on the registration form or fill the Google form attached in the Delegates Corner on the website. (However, the cost has to be borne by the delegate separately). For details contact: +91-8790301048
  9. 9) Carrying your college ID card and OSMECON Registration ID is mandatory at all times at the conference.
  10. 10) Plagiarism of any kind will lead to disqualification.
  11. 11) Delegates who register for workshops are considered to have provided their consent, stating "OSMECON or the organizing team is not responsible for any health issues that may or may not develop during or after the event, and I am attending this event of my own free will."
  12. 12) SUCCESSFUL PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
  13. 13) Delegates not following the rules and regulations of the events and resorting to unethical practices (individuals/teams) are liable to be disqualified. Such practices will not be entertained.

Eligibility:-

  1.      1) All students studying MBBS or BDS at the time of the conference (including interns) are eligible to attend and participate in OSMECON.
  2.      2) Postgraduates are not allowed to the conference.
  3.      3) Paramedical students are only allowed to participate in passive events.
