WELCOME MIDTERM OPAI 2023 LUCKNOW

It is our pleasure to invite you to the forthcoming, 8th Mid-Term Annual Conference of The Oculoplastics Association of India, which will be hosted at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow on June 25, 2023.

This year, the theme of this one-day event is “Controversies in diagnosis and /or management of orbital diseases” with case-based debates. The highlights of this conclave will be keynote lectures from international faculty, panel discussions, and interactive case scenarios, that will enable participants to enhance their knowledge and expand their skill sets.

The conference will provide an excellent opportunity for observational learning and to forge new connections. We are looking forward to hosting you in the city of Nawabs (and kebabs)! We invite all to submit abstracts with the theme of challenges and controversies in orbital diseases.

HOST CITY MIDTERM OPAI 2023 LUCKNOW

Lucknow is a city located in the northern part of India. It is the capital city of the state of Uttar Pradesh and is situated on the banks of the Gomti River. The Bara Imambara is also known for its unique architecture and intricate maze-like design. To add to the glory, there’s King George’s Medical University, one of the few oldest medical universities in India. The venue, Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute, also holds a good name in the entire north India.

Lucknow is also famous for its cuisine, which is a blend of Mughlai and Awadhi influences. Some of the most popular dishes include biryani, kebabs, and kulfi, a type of Indian ice cream. In conclusion, Lucknow is a city with a rich cultural heritage and a vibrant present. Its history, art, music, and cuisine make it a must-visit destination for anyone interested in Indian culture.
