We assure you that these 3 days will be an enthralling blend of academic, and cultural from your daily routine. It’s a great chance to escape from your mundane busy schedule and be an integral part of this Radiology carnival. 

Vijayapura previously known as Bijapur is well for its historical monuments of architectural importance. The city was established in the 10-11th centuries by Kalyan Chalukya and was known as Vijayapura (City of Victory) and was later ruled by Yadavas. In the year 1347, this region was conquered by the Bahamani Sultanate whose important architectural monuments like the Gol Gumbaz, Ibrahim Roza, and Bara Kamaan have attracted millions of visitors from around the globe. The great social reformer JagadhajyotiBasaveshwara was born in the Vijyapura district. He was the pioneer in “Vachana Sahitya” – a form of literature represented as poems or short verses which emphasize equality, integrity, and self-morals. Vijayapura is blessed with many great personalities like Shri Siddeshwar Swamiji, a great legend known as “The God who walked and talked” whose selfless service to humanity and mankind is priceless. 

BLDE was established way back in 1910 (well beyond 100 years) by Vachana Pitamaha Dr. P G Halakati to serve needy society in the educational field. Visionary leaders such as Shri Sanganbasaveshwar Maha Shivayogigalu of Banthanal, and Shri B.M Patil have nurtured further. Our current leader Honorable Chancellor Shri M.B. Patil with his magnanimous vision has expanded this institution and taken it to greater heights and is now considered one of the top educational institutions and deemed to be a university. 

We feel happy and privileged to welcome you all to such a historical place, where Radiology Conference is conducted for the first time. Apart from being a city of historical and educational importance, this city has got an amazing culture of deliciously healthy cuisine like, joladrotti, sajjirotti, mosuru, agasi, sengachattini, sengaholige, yennagayipalle, menishiakayebaji, cut baji and many more with fresh locally grown fruits and vegetable like grapes, pomegranate, lemon, guava, cucumber, etc. Within a radius of 80 to 100 km, the city is accessible to some beautiful places like Allamatti, Kudalsangama, Badami caves, Aihole, Pattadakallu, etc. Apart from this special technological-related trade stalls will be done, which is never experienced before. 

The theme of the Conference is “OMNIRADIOLOGY – CURRENT PRACTICES & ADVANCES”. We specially focus on the workshop, gray areas of radiology, and Basics to complex topics, which are explained by stalwart and experienced Radiologists of the Country and overseas. We shall leave no stone unturned in making the conference and your stay comforting, and memorable.
