On behalf of the Central Organising Committee of the Indian Orthopaedic Association, it is our proud privilege to welcome you to Lucknow – The City of Nawabs, for the 68th (LXVIII) Annual Conference of the Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOACON) from December 14 - 17, 2023.
The Golden City of the East is known as the Constantinople of India. The “Lucknowi Andaaz” (Courtly Mannerisms) with the flair for poetry & music make it a destination of choice for a connoisseur of culture. Besides being a cultural paradise, it is bliss for seekers of fine cuisine.
The Local Organizing Team marshalled by Dr. Shubh Mehrotra, Dr. Sanjeev Awasthi, Dr. Vineet Sharma and Dr. Jamal Ashraf are working in great earnest towards making this IOACON – 2023, a “Lucknowledge” experience to cherish forever.
The IOA has close to fifteen thousand life members and scientists of world-repute who would add immense value to the orthopaedic healthcare in India & the rest of the world by their participation. The ‘knowledge’ which gets crystallized into ‘wisdom’ at meetings like the IOACON is the way forward for the future generation.
The attendance of post-graduates and senior faculty members in large numbers is solicited by the COC to make this academic congregation a path-breaking event for the IOA, both in attendance & quality of scientific deliberations.
