International Conference on Bhāratīya Knowledge Frameworks – Āyurveda, Vyākaraṇa and Darśana
17 Aug 2026 - 19 Aug 2026
Kollam, India
About Event
The International Conference on Bhāratīya Knowledge Frameworks – Āyurveda, Vyākaraṇa and Darśana will be held from 17 – 19, August 2026 at the Amritapuri Campus, Kollam, Kerala, of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
The conference is being organised by the Amrita Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) Centre of Excellence for Āyurveda, Vyākaraṇa and Darśana, a nationally recognised centre supported by the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) Division, Ministry of Education, Government of India. Notably, the Amrita IKS Centre was among the first 13 IKS Centres funded by the IKS Division and is now recognised as one among only three IKS Centres of Excellence in the country, reflecting its sustained academic leadership and national relevance.
This international conference seeks to provide a rigorous academic platform for exploring the epistemic foundations, knowledge frameworks, and methodological principles underlying Bhāratīya knowledge traditions. Bringing together scholars, faculty members, researchers, and practitioners from diverse disciplines, the conference aims to foster critical dialogue on how Indian knowledge systems have generated, validated, transmitted, and applied knowledge across centuries—and how these frameworks remain relevant to contemporary scholarship and practice.
