The Annual Conference of Medical Writers to be organized by the Committee of Writers of the Indian Medical Association will be held in Shimoga on Saturday and Sunday, September 2 and 3.
Earlier in the conference held in Mangalore, Dr. The success was witnessed by the presence of Satchidananda Vice-Chancellor, and Kannada Sahitya Parish State President Mr. Manu Pasigara. Dr. Yoganana, a senior physician, was the president. Good discussions were made.
The second was the Hybrid Conference held in Bangalore. It is also Kannada and Culture Minister Shri Sunil Kumar and Shri Dr. Jayakara Shetty's active participation was the highlight. Senior Medical Doctor Dr. Smt. RK Saroj was the president.
The third conference was held in Dharwad under the chairmanship of Dr PS Shankar. Vice Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi Health University, Dr. Ramesh M.K. In the conference inaugurated by Dr. Dignitaries like Rajendra Poddara, Smt. Malathi Pattanashatti, etc. participated. Cultural programs were also held with discussions on different topics like storytelling, poetry workshop, lifestyle, medical education in Kannada.
Now this fourth conference will be held in collaboration with Shimoga branch of Bha Y Sam.
Apart from the senior medical staff, time was also reserved for medical students and a quiz was organized for the students under the leadership of Na Someswara.
Our Writers' Committee, led by the Indian Medical Association Shimoga, has been active in designing the programme. The Vaidyamitra of Shimoga are looking forward to their coming.
