With great pleasure, we invite you to the XLI Annual Meeting of the Indian Academy of Neurosciences and the International Conference on "BRAIN: CHEMISTRY TO COGNITION" to be held at Jiwaji University (JU), Gwalior, one of the leading Universities in India. JU has not only been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council with Grade A++ but also is the pioneering Institution in India in Neuroscience Education and research on the non-neuronal cells of the brain. The two UTDs involved are School of Studies in Zoology where we initiated neuroscience research and the School of Studies in Neuroscience that was developed, as the first University Teaching Department (UTD) of Neuroscience, with generous support from the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt of India to promote studies on the structure, function and disorders of the brain with the motto: "Training the brains for the Brain". The event intends to ensure cutting-edge research meets the passion for neuroscience. It would showcase advances in neuroscience, bringing together the researchers, practitioners, young enthusiasts and encouraging them to exchange knowledge and experiences with the brain from its chemistry to the higher order function- cognition. The Conference would also inspire the next generation neuroscientists to make significant investigations to unravel the mysteries of the structure, function and mal-functioning of the brain. This is expected to be a platform for initiating initiatives for finding effective solutions for various brain disorders.
The Conference would include, Key-note addresses, Orations, Invited Lectures, Symposia, Young Scientist Colloquium, Poster Presentations, Children-Scientists Interaction, Neuroscience Advocacy, Evening lectures, Neuroscience Edu-Fair, Initiate an Initiative, Exhibitions, Socialization, etc.
