Greetings from the Blue City of India - Jodhpur!!

It gives us immense pleasure to invite you to the 26th Annual Conference of the Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Anaesthesiologists, IACTACON 2023 to be held on 17th - 19th February 2023 at Jodhpur.

This Annual Conference is hosted by the Jodhpur Association of Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Anaesthesiologists. It will be a global meeting place for mentors and budding cardiac anaesthesiologists and researchers across the globe to voice their examination discoveries to the world.

The purpose of this conference is to offer the opportunity to involve practitioners from different fields in discussions with key experts and internationally known speakers on various topics, in a spontaneous and relaxed atmosphere. Topics will be revisiting the state-of-the-art management practices, the available new technologies and drugs, and current initiatives for quality improvement. The goal is to achieve the best outcome through best practices sharing, deliberating lectures, and live workshops.

Jodhpur is the second-largest city in Rajasthan and the former capital of the Marwar region. It is situated just northwest of the Luni River on a sterile tract of land covered with high sand hills. Jodhpur is also known as the Blue City, an apt name as most houses in the old city are shades of blue. This is particularly noticeable on the north side of the town, known as Brahmpuri for the many Brahmins that live there. The forts and palaces, temples and Havelis, culture and tradition, spices and fabrics, color and texture, and a booming handicraft industry all make this historic city worth a visit. Jodhpur is a major regional road and rail junction and a trade center for crops, wool, cattle, salt, and hides. Jodhpur has its domestic airport which is just 5 kilometers from the city center. This airport is well-connected to other major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Udaipur, and Jaipur.
