We are delighted to invite you to the 19th Annual National Conference of the Indian Association for Geriatric Mental Health – GERON 2023, to be held at Mysore on 23rd & 24th September 2023. The theme for this year’s conference is “Relationship and Caregiving in Elderly.”

As we age, the relationship between caregivers and elderly individuals becomes increasingly important. The caregiving relationship can be both fulfilling and challenging, with a significant impact on the well-being of both the caregiver and the care recipient. This year’s conference focuses on this critical topic and aims to provide a platform for experts, researchers, and practitioners to discuss the latest research and best practices in the field of geriatric mental health.

The conference will feature presentations that will explore the dynamics of caregiving in the elderly and promote healthy and positive relationships between caregivers and the elderly. Our esteemed speakers will share their knowledge and expertise on topics such as caregiver stress, caregiver burden, communication between caregivers and the elderly, and interventions that promote positive caregiving relationships. The conference venue, JSS Hospital, is located in the heart of Mysore, a beautiful city with a rich cultural heritage.
