The Tata Memorial Centre cordially invites you to the XXI meeting on “Evidence Based Management of Cancers in India - EBM 2023” to be held from 24th to 26th February,2023.This meeting also coincides with the Hospital Day Celebration of our institute. Tata Memorial Centre has pioneered the cause of EBM in oncology in India and has been conducting this annual meeting for the past twenty years where each year we focus on different aspects of cancer care. We also collate and publish the best available evidence in the form of an EBM book which is available on our website.

EBM 2023 will have two tracks focusing on ‘Prevention in Oncology’. The first track will cover the emerging concept of ‘Precision and Prevention’ and the second track is on ‘Prevention and early detection of common cancers’. This will focus on the role of prevention in breast, gynaecological, oral cavity, lung, prostate, colorectal and esophago-gastric cancers

Two pre-conference workshops are planned for EBM 2023: a hybrid workshop on ‘Genome Wide association studies: Design, conduct and analysis ‘and a hands-on workshop on ‘Colposcopy & Cervical pre-cancer management’.

The EBM 2023 will help busy clinicians from all over the country and abroad to get updated on the best available evidence in oncology in a span of 3-4 days, thereby translating into better overall patient care. Renowned International and National faculty members will cover the above topics in a very focused and succinct manner.

The target audience for the meeting is surgical oncologists, radiation and medical oncologists, epidemiologists, preventive oncologists, basic scientists, physicians from allied specialties, general medicine practitioners and also trainees in the above specialties.
