The Diabetes Research & Solutions (DRS) is an annual conference of the Mumbai Diabetes Care Foundation (MDCF), Mumbai. The conference is supported and endorsed by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), Brussels. It brings together like-minded healthcare professionals to share domain expertise and experience while inculcating research and simultaneously providing a platform to young career physicians to present and engage in scientific discussions around diabetes. This conference will essentially pave the way for healthcare professionals across the country and region with current scientific advances and equal focus on pragmatic, clinically relevant topics in the field of diabetes and obesity and the overlap. A unique focus of this event has also been the inclusion of lived voices that add a much-needed layer to improving clinical practices. The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) has appreciated the past efforts of this group and endorsed DRS, as it has the honour of hosting the International Stream on Diabetes Complications Curated by IDF as a part of the annual event.
