Greetings from the cosmopolitan city of Kochi
On behalf of the organizing committee, it is my honor and privilege to extend you a warm welcome to the sixth annual conference of the Association of Pelviacetabular Surgeons (AOPAS). This mega event will be conducted in the world-class arena of Hotel Le Meridien Kochi on 19, 20, and 21 of April 2024.
The program is designed to explore both the basic tenets and advanced frontiers of Pelviacetabular fracture surgery. There is something for everyone. The trainees can practice the surgical approaches on cadavers and learn the tricks of internal fixation in the saw bone lab. They can watch the experts in action during the live surgeries. There are case presentation sessions and quiz competitions for them.
This will be an academic feast for the experienced periacetabular surgeon where he can discuss and debate issues with the master surgeons from around the globe. We are expecting all senior periacetabular surgeons from India in addition to renowned overseas faculty to participate.
Kochi is blessed with abundant natural beauty and historical relics. There is a lot to see and enjoy. You can worship in the famous temples including the Guruvayoor temple and the splendid churches like the St Francis cathedral where Vasco da Gama was laid to rest. The historically inclined can take a walk to the Dutch cemetery and the Jewish synagogue.
Overall this conference promises to be exciting and one of a kind. I urge you to register early as places in the workshops are limited. Please also encourage your colleagues and trainees to attend the conference and workshops.
