Message from Organizing Chairman

Dear Colleagues,

I am indeed most delighted to present the fifth edition of the Ophthall Conference series. Ophthall comes from the combination of Ophth- meaning Ophthalmology and All- meaning everything in Eye Care. Over the past years, Ophthall practice development has helped 1000s of doctors to practice effectively since inception in 2018. Ophthall is now a strong organization with more than 3000+ Ophthalmologist Members

We are happy to collaborate with the All India Ophthalmological Society for this event. It is a great recognition and honor for Ophthall Practice Development to associate with the world’s largest association of Ophthalmologists.

I have participated in many Ophthalmology conferences both as a faculty member and a participant and I seriously felt that most of these conferences are not addressing the important issue of Practice Development. Why is no one teaching us how to practice? This was a question that was bothering me, and this led to the conceptualization of Ophthall - An Exclusive Practice Management conference for Eye Hospitals along with the India Ophthalmology Expo.

Ophthalmology practices today must handle too many challenges right from Regulatory issues to competition from Online Healthcare Aggregators and I am sure participating in AIOS -Ophthall 2023 will definitely help you handle these challenges in a better way. This conference will break all traditional conference formats and hence I prefer to call it an Unconference. The two days sessions will have four Major workshops (Insurance Billing, Hospital Design, Hospital Marketing, and Financial Management) and 16 Round Table sessions in addition to regular sessions. We have lined up speakers who are experts in practice development and I am sure we are all going to learn a lot of new things from them.

AIOS-Ophthall 2023 will provide the perfect forum for both faculty and participants to interact and possibly discuss future collaborations.
