Sarcoma Education Foundation has planned a unique program "Nurture the Future" for post-graduate students and young consultants. This initiative is conceptualized to introduce them to the basics of Musculoskeletal Oncology.

Over the years, we have realized that the post-graduate training in India lacks adequate exposure to the field of Musculoskeletal Oncology, resulting in young consultants not being confident in dealing with Tumour cases in their daily practice. This program has been designed in such a way that post- graduate students and young consultants get enriched and refine their diagnostic and therapeutic skills in Musculoskeletal Oncology.

The program covers both Benign and Malignant bone diseases. It will have dedicated sessions on Biopsy, Pathological Fractures, and Metastatic Bone Diseases. We also plan to have case presentations, which we are hoping will be the highlight of this program. This will allow students from all over the country to present cases and get benefited from the experience of leading Orthopaedic Onco Surgeons and help them prepare for the exams.

In this program, the basics of Musculoskeletal Oncology will be dealt; within monthly sessions conducted over the span of 12 months. These will be conducted online, every second Saturday of each month as a 90-minute session. These sessions will have three components - Didactic Lectures, Case-based Learnings, and a Quiz at the end to keep it interesting for the audience.
