About Event
All drugs carry the potential to produce both desirable and undesirable effects. Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) may occur even if a drug is used correctly. Therefore, a system of reporting ADRs is required to detect, assess and, if possible, prevent ADRs in the future. The Pharmacovigilance Program of India fulfills this role in the country. But this is possible only if Health Care Professionals are aware of the program and motivated to contribute to it, which is the aim of the CME.
