On behalf of the organizing committee of the “9th YROC -2023,” we feel privileged to invite you to participate in the 9th ANNUAL YOUNG RADIATION ONCOLOGISTS CONFERENCE, to be held on 25th and 26th February, being hosted by Department of Radiation Oncology, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. This meeting will be a great academic feast for all the radiation oncologists and would open up innovative thought process for our next generation budding radiation oncologists. The theme of this year's conference is “INNOVATIONS IN ONCOLOGY: SPANNING NEW HORIZON”. Oncology centers and other healthcare providers have the task of simultaneously improving patient outcomes, patient safety, patient service and cost-effectiveness. In the past decades, the implementation of innovations, from new products, services and technologies to systematic changes, have helped make great progress in coping with this complex task. For example, in radiotherapy, technological innovations have improved the precision of radiation therapy, resulting in improved patient outcomes. Therefore, it is important to discuss the innovations in oncology. We will try to make all the best possible efforts to make you feel comfortable so that you enjoy your stay along with enrichment of knowledge in this academic carnival.
