Over the last 2 decades, we have seen a surge in arthroscopic surgeries in India which have revolutionized the management of orthopedic and sports injuries, enabling faster healing and quicker recovery. With the advancements in the field of arthroscopy, optimum preservation of function and early return to sport has been possible. Our continued efforts and determination to improve active individuals’ quality of life and allow the athletes to return to their pre-injury status have shifted our attention to a deeper understanding of anatomy and biomechanics.

This year in the 9th Arthroscopy Academy Meeting, we are taking you “Back to Basics” of knee and shoulder injuries and arthroscopic Management and sports rehabilitation. With this theme in mind, we will focus on the basics of ACL, meniscus, alignment, rotator cuff, shoulders stability, and biomechanics in the upcoming 9th Meeting of the Arthroscopy Academy. This academic extravaganza will exhibit more than 18 live surgical demonstrations, didactic presentations, panel discussions, and cadaveric hands-on workshops, as well as an opportunity to interact with reputed international and national faculties and other colleagues across the country.
