About Event
Welcome to the post-COVID era! With the successful completion of five International Conferences on Translational Research before COVID and the sixth meeting in online mode, it’s time to bid adieu to virtual events. It is our pleasure to inform you that the Indian Society of Translational Research (ISTR), India in association with All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi will be jointly organizing the “7th International Conference on Translational Research- Innovations in Translational Research: Transforming tomorrow” at AIIMS, New Delhi, India from 16-18th October 2023.
Several eminent Clinicians and Scientists from various organizations in India and around the World are expected to deliver a talk at this conference. This year’s conference will focus on the promising areas related to innovations in immunotherapy, oncology, stem cell biology, biomarker and drug discovery, biosensors, big data analysis, and their impact on translational research. This conference will bring together researchers and clinicians in these fields to foster the exchange of ideas and establish collaborations. We can anticipate the enthusiasm of the attendees for reconvening in person.
ISTR is a registered society (under the society registration act 1860) that came into being in March 2013. The founder members of this society were Prof. N. K. Ganguly, Prof. Rajendra Prasad, Prof G. C. Kundu, Dr. Suman Dhar, Dr. Gauri Nath, Dr Tapan Chaudhary, Prof. Subrat Kumar Acharya, Mr. Sujit Chakraborty, and Dr. Tapas Kundu. The society originated as a means of bringing together scientists all over the nation to think, discuss and act on strategies for bringing the vast body of Indian basic research to the people. The society specifically aims at building an interdisciplinary network of scientists with complementary skill sets that can be put together to spark translation. With this in mind, ISTR conducts meetings, workshops, and seminars in order to facilitate this process and improve awareness and conversation about the translation potential of ongoing research. With an ever-increasing body of members, we hope that the aims and objectives of ISTR are fulfilled and that the people of India are able to experience firsthand the impact of scientific research and progress that goes on in our laboratories.
