Greetings from Pune, India. The Wrist Society of India is a young association of orthopedic and hand surgeons across the country having a special interest in surgery of the wrist.

We are proud to host the 7th Annual Congress of the Asia Pacific Wrist Association at the DY Patil Medical College, Pimpri, Pune, where several leaders in the field of wrist surgery from across the world will participate to share their knowledge and experience. This international conference focused on the wrist is the very first of its kind to be organized in India.

The prestigious 7th Annual Congress of the APWA 2022, will be held from the 29th to the 30th of October 2022 at the DY Patil Medical College, Pimpri, Pune.

Pimpri is the twin city of Pune, which is well connected to the rest of the country and has flight connections to all major cities in India.

The weather in Pune during the conference is expected to be warm and pleasant. There are excellent hotels nearby, at very attractive rates that have been arranged by the conference secretariat.

The conference is spread over three days to provide the delegates with a comprehensive exposure to wrist surgery. We will be having a live surgery workshop on the 29th of October 2022 with about fifteen surgeries that will be telecast live, followed by two days of academic talks and deliberations.

The theme of our conference is “A tryst with the wrist” with an objective to introduce the wrist as a fascinating subspecialty to a larger audience, especially the younger generation of orthopedic Surgeons. We are expecting the participation of about two hundred national and international surgeons. Eminent national and international faculty have already agreed to participate!
