I am happy to send this message for the 14th SAFOG conference, organized by SAFOG in association with the Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecological Societies of India(FOGSI) and hosted by the Mumbai Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society. and will be held in Mumbai, Indi

I wish to congratulate Prof Shyam Desai, President-Elect of SAFOG, Dr. Hrishikesh Pai president of FOGSI, Dr. Madhuri Patel Secretary General of FOGSI, Dr. Jaydeep Tank President Elect FOGSI, Dr. Bhaskar Pal of FOGSI Representative to SAFOG, Dr.Anahita Chauhan President MOGS and Dr. Shailesh Kore Secretary MOGS and the other leaders of FOGSI and MOGS for organizing this wonderful conference.

SAFOG countries have a significant percentage of the Global population and still make a major contribution to maternal deaths and NCDs globally. Gynecological cancer rates are still higher in the South Asian region and the proportion of deaths due to cancer Is also high in our region, Similarly, gender-based violence is a major concern in South Asia.

I am certain that the 14th SAFOG conference with the theme 'Cutting edge management in ObGyn” will address these issues and would come out with action plans which SAFOG will be able to carry forward in association with the member countries to uplift the women's health and women's rights in our region.

The organizers have developed an excellent scientific program involving very knowledgeable speakers from South Asia and around the world. In addition, very informative Pre congress workshops have been planned.

I also thank FIGO and AOFOG for joining the conference and supporting SAFOG which will further enhance the relationship between our organizations

As we enter the post-pandemic world, let's reemphasize the value of meeting each other in person, renewing our relationships, and exchanging new friends. We all will benefit from our close relationships and strong combined advocacy which would help our members and women.

I invite everyone to the 14th SAFOG conference and look forward to seeing everyone in Mumbai in September.

REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

  •  Send the filled offline form to the conference secretariat address given below along with the payment receipt/Cheque/DD Online
  •  charges will be applicable at 3% of the total amount of Conference Registration fees
  •  Include admission to the scientific halls, trade exhibition, inaugural function, lunch inaugural dinner, and delegate kit.
  •  Organizing committee shall not be liable in any form in case of a change in date/venue due to unforeseen reasons
  •  Conference organizers are not responsible for postal delays/ failure of delivery by post or failure of electronic communication
  •  It is mandatory to submit HOD Letter/PG certificate to avail of the registration in the PG category
